The pipefish provided the ibis with quite a battle before the ibis managed to swallow him. C & C appreciated.

Fantastic capture Mike, the whites look good and the head is pin sharp. The tips of the bill look a little soft, but no big deal. Well done and thanks for sharing

excellent exposure, sharp details and I also like the prey item. I'd leave more room on the btm. for virtual feet but this closeup view works here as well. I may also selectively sharpen the tip of the bill that was outside DOF

This image really tells a story Mike - lots of impact that holds the viewer's attention. I agree with a little more room at bottom, but splendid shot!

Sharp where it needs to be, and the action is superb. I love the head tilt of the ibis. Yes to a looser comp, and perhaps some bit of CW rotation too.

Cracker shot Mike, love the birds blue eye and the cool prey item. Great exposure, well done (Agree with Arash in terms of possibly selectively sharpening the end of the bill). TFS

What a great capture with a nice exposure and quite a bit of detail! I'll agree about leaving some room below for virtual feet.
