This male Blue Wren was attracted to the site with peanut butter.
The perch, Barrier Range wattle, was growing locally in the area. This species of wattle has an intense yellow/gold and was a challenge to photograph in bright sun light. This is pretty close to the colour intensity after a 20% reduction in yellow saturation.

Hi John, miss all those special plants you have over there, can't see any trace of that peanut butter but looks like it worked very well again getting this bird into a nice pose, very nice colourful shot.
Trying to find an Australian Wren to post.
Cheers Keith.

What a great looking little bird this is and you did a great job capturing it. Love the colors of the bird and the perch. The BG looks real nice and highlights the bird very well. Nice work John

Excellent image John! I like the pose, perch, flowers, sharpness and composition. The bird is a beauty and look forward to seeing any more images you have of it .
