Oh yes, the blacks are much richer and void of the noise that was so apparent in the previous image. I also like the amount of space on both sides of the subjects. Very well done on the adjustments you did for this one.

Great balance in the comp on this one William. I'd be tempted to bring out the eyes a bit.

Another beautiful shot from the series! Love the framing, exposure, BG and poses of the pair. Well done!

This image clearly demonstrates importance of proper RAW processing. the earlier post suffered from heavy noise which was easily fixed here

Nice job on these guys. the eyes are always such a challenge on these birds. I like this one.

Very nice indeed, I would still lighten the blacks a tad on the right hand bird around the eye area, also brighten the eye a little too.

All been said . Very nice. Would certainly lighten the head a teeny bit on the right bird.

BTW I almost stopped off for a cuppa on my way back along the A915/A92 last month.

You should have Steve, we could have photographed the eiders in the harbour

Very nice William. Much better than the last one, had to go back and look as I wasn't around, and the exposure look killer. I also like the interaction between the two. Well done
