At this location, there are Herons and Egrets, and its always fun trying to capture the best incoming pose as they perch high up in the trees. I just wished that he didnt stand in so much white stuff. Taken early morning.

very nice great light and all, I would sharpen the perch he is coming to a bit maybe to emphasize the area that he will be landing.

Nice flight shot Stuart and the white plumage well exposed. The egret portrayed against the green OOF foliage works well here.

Stuart the Egret stands out very well against that green bg, your exposure looks spot on, if I have a very tiny nit I would like to have seen all the Bg green but that of course is something you do not have control over(personal thing), excellent flight shot .

    Cheers Keith.

Well exposed and I like the feather detail. Was this at UP sports grounds?

This has the Bowie trademark of excellent lighting and timing, super shot Stu, those feathers are really well shown - great stuff.

All been said really. Like the way the backdrop conveys a sense of "being somewhere"

Hi Stuart. Great moment and bird landing pose. Like the light, well done exposure. The landing point is not clear so if mine I would try to make the frame with bird only. TFS.

    Cheers,
    Miro

That early morning light has covered every inch of this good looking cattle egret so well. Perfect exposure and details and I like the landing pose, just wish for a little head turn, but still a solid keeper.
    Nice work Stuart.
