    Jon:

Excellent wood pecker image, with prop tail, grip on trunk, sharp, well exposed. Perhaps a bit tight on right, but changing that will change your proportions and might mean other changes as well.

    Cheers

I think I prefer this image to the last one. The details and sharpness are amazing. I do feel as though I think I'd like to see a little more on top and right if you have it.

Jim, this one is loads better than the last (IMO), and that's saying something. The detail is there throughout. I could see a version with less room on the left (so the trunk is on the left with no space), a little more room on the right (to balance) and a tad more on top.

Yes, I like this one the best aswell Maybe a wee bit more room behind the bird, giving him room to move backwards, as they do quite often. Well done :)

Bird and BG spot on John but for me the perch(stunp) seems a little dominant.

The light source is nicely directly behind you and I like the dead trunk, I agree that a bit more room behind the bird would be good.

Way better than the last one!! This one rocks with a sweet pose, the open beak, killer detail and exposure , great looking natural to the bird perch, and a nice smooth BG. One of your best.
Oh, yes to more room on the Rt.
