Here is another shot from the encounter of an Ibis with a frog. For the full story, see my previous post.

I like the position of the frog here, but I was too close to get everything in the same focus plane.

    Shooting Info:
    Canon 5D3 | 500 f/4 II + 1.4x III
    1/640" | f/5.6 | ISO 1600

When I see this image, all I can think about is that poor frog b/c his tongue is hanging out. Killer behavior captured. Love your BG. I personally preferred the last one with a tighter crop. This must have been an awful lot of fun to witness and photograph.

I think this works very well Micquel. The depth of field is where the action is and helps to focus the viewer's attention on the bird's head and of course the happless frog. Good work. Regards, Ian

Great action shot of captured prey Miguel which is emphasized by the expert cropping!

I like this one too but I prefer the first one because frog was in focus on the first. The techs and details on the bird look great but, as you mentioned, the DOF didn't cover the frog. Pertty cool though.

Just look at those cotton-like feathers! lovely bird and superb exposure. The poor frog adds to the image in a great way. TFS Daniel!
