Love this one Christopher! Subject is small in the frame, which I like as it gives us a chance to view the habitat. The bird is sharp and the whites under the wing look super. I'd be more than happy with this one. Great effort, TFS.

    Chrs:
I agree with Dave, the environmental component here is excellent, really give us a sense of his environment.

    The lighting works for me.

Do wish the other wing was visible.

    Cheers

Beautiful bird. Nice sharpness. I agree with Randy about wanting to see the other wing, and I wouldn't mind a slightly tighter crop.

Christopher I usually like to see them a bit bigger in the frame, but I'm wrong this looks fine the way you have posted it showing the habitat and all, lovely sharp bird.

    Cheers Keith.

Nice shot, I like the wing pose and the loose framing. For my taste I'd have liked the bird a little lower in the frame with a bit less foreground and more up top, but thats only a personal thing.

Hi Chris, the grouse really pops from the BG, and well done on capturing the raised wing. I like the comp as is.

Super image Christopher, agree with having both wings visible but love the environment and the fact that you got him sharp. Well done!

It rings my bell, lovely shot good detail and nice environmental aspect too. I like the blurred wing tips and the sharp body and head.

Great capture Christopher of this Grouse, and the extra view of the habitat does seem to enhance thisvparticular image. The extra wing would've been the icing on the cake

Great looking Grouse flight shot Chris. I like the habitat and the techs look nice too. I personally like the wing position and don't mind not seeing the other wing. Well done
