This is the last blue tit in the series - honest. (I processed this one in DPP, the previous in ACR)
    All C&C welcome.

Hi Jon, love the comp here with the Tit framed in the 'triangle'. Good look back pose, the light looks great, and I do like the detail you have brought out on the little guy. Lovely colours on him too.

For me,that's your best one yet. I have enjoyed the blue tits you have posted I would love to have a garden like yours, it sounds really good, and you have the set up now working perfectly, even for the BIF. Well done

Such a pretty bird...post as many you would like, especially when they look this good. The pose is best of the three offerings imo. Visually, I'm a little challenged by that perch going up the side of the frame on the left...but can't think of any good alternatives...It's good to be challenged by an image anyway...Regardless, love the light quality, warmth, and sharp details.

I like the pose, details, and most of the background...but I gotta admit that both the vertical branch at left and the dark area behind the head distract IMO. This one isn't clicking with me as much as the previous one did.

Hi Jonathan Love the looking-back pose of this blue tit and great feather detail. I can see why you included the vertical stem to complete the triangle, but you always have the option to further strengthen the composition by cropping to a single diagonal perch if you wished.

Thanks very much everyone, I am glad you liked it, I wrestled with the stem on the left making versions with and without. Roughly half way up the stem I did remove a smaller side stem.

Love everything about this image except for the vertical twig.

I had a dream last night that there was a Blue Tit in my backyard, but I couldn't get my camera to take a picture! Funny to see your image of a Blue Tit on BPN this morning! The bird looks great, and I really like the main perch. The vertical branch on the left is too close to the image border IMO. But with the bird looking to the left I'm not sure you could crop the branch out. Did you use any flash?

Well you guys really don't like my twig on the left do you - I will have another look see. Thanks again everyone
Doug no flash used and no flash for the in flight shots either.
(mainly because I don't have one of those fancy battery packs that permit extra rapid recycling, I did have one years ago though - got the battery from Maplin and wore it on a home made belt.
