    Late afternoon the wind abated, and the egret was comfortable enough with my presence (or so focused on hunting with the suddenly calm water) that it caught a series of small fish in succession.
    T2i 400 5.6 at f6.3 1/2000 ISO 320

    Lovely image Ron. I like the splash, it's a pity more of the head was not showing, but nice as it is Well done

    Works for me. Nice splashing action here and I like the details along the neck. Pretty neat the we see a bit of the head under the water. If mine I'd fiddle with the shadows to see if I could lift some details on the perch. I would also have loved a bit more room below (and right to retain the ratio).
