These fungi I picked on the way back from my pool hide. I,m still alive so they are not poisonous !!!

Interesting subjects and the light helps to bring out the texture! Very nice for a hand held stack at a not-very-fast shutter speed. Also, the whites stand out very nicely against the greens. Well done!

    Thanks Steve
Interesting how one of the layers in a stack if hand held can be way out of line but the programme amazingly pulls them back into line !!!

John: I love the textures you captured in those caps. Interesting technique to hand hold but do a stack. Very good!

Very good technique. Like others I like the textures a lot, despite the fact that the BG is quite busy there is a very good separation of the subject and I like the oof grass blades and I think it shows well the environment around without distracting from subject. Well done!

John I am familiar with these fungi and just to show my ignorance I thought they were poisonous! I think you have brought out the detail/tecture in the cps very well indeed, a really good shot.

I would hate any member of the forum to become ill through eating these ! There are a couple of other seocies of Corpinus but they don't look like the ones in the picture. They are hard to mistake and as long as you eat whilst stil white they are no problem If anyone is not sure - leave alone !!!

I stick with eating morels, which don't look like anything else. I wish I had the patience to take a picture of them--I am much too eager to get them to the pan. Excellent pic.
