    Interesting image Dan. The layered composition with sky, grass, rocks, water, rock and water keeps my eye moving around the image. I like that you have several different birds and one in flight. Well done.

    Hi Dan, lots of interest in this image and nice to see something different with a variety of bird species. The only thing that I dont like are the rocks in the background but that is pretty subjective :)... thanks for sharing

    Of all the bird images on the board right now...this easily gives the best sense of place. I like your composition.

    I love the title you chose. I also appreciate that you mention the gulls as I would have missed them as Dave seemingly has. Great sense of place indeed. Perhaps lightening the very darkest blacks would be good.
