Hi Sanjeev, this is a fun image. I think the bird is a little out of focus. If I were you, I'd have shot this frame at ISO-800. I hear the 7D should be able to handle ISO-800 no problem. Loi

Hi Sanjeev, seems the Buff is in his element and pretty chilled out.
Overall I like the composition and the diagonal angle, having the Ox P has made the image for me. Keeping any adjustment simple, adding a % Luminosity & Linear curve with masks just brings out more detail and content back into the image, it all looks a bit light & thin. By creating more depth and tone the image will have more presence and weight to it. Expanding the mid ones, adding some dark tone will also help, but this needs to be done through channels to get the right effect, however adding just the earlier stuff will I feel take it up another few steps. As you had the SS, having more DoF would have been good.

Hi Sanjeev - good suggestions as always by Steve. For me, as posted, this isn't doing it for me. I think it's the tones as well as the fact that the buff's eye are closed and the oxpecker is flying away. Sorry.

Neat image Sanjeev. Impressive set of horns on that buff. Steve sees him as chilled out, I prefer closing his eyes due to the incoming bird (although I'm pretty sure Steve is right on this one)

Quite a cool moment here! Steve's suggestions should elevate the image as posted.
I'm surprised at the DOF - oxpecker simply in exactly the right spot?
