I captured this image a while back at one of the lakes in the center of Lakeland, Florida. There was a family group of Wood Storks resting on the shore. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

This is one of the best wood stork portraits I've seen Joe. I like the pastels and all of feather details. Well done!

What a sweet looking youngster, complete with those spiky feathers on top of his funny. So much character in this image and your photography looks spot on. Love the baby blue color and perfect depth of field.

Ooh, that lightly hued background is special....Stork looks great. Perfect dof to cover the head to the tip of the bill. Head angle and eye contact are exceptional...the slightly green hued feathers in the chest look just a little odd to me...must have been color picked up from the veg under the bird...?

Thank you all for viewing and commenting. I truly appreciated your time and effort in doing so.

Shawn, as many times as I looked at this image in working on it I did not notice the green cast on the lower chest. The stork was at the edge of the water on a sloping mowed grass area, the green must be reflected light from the grass. I fixed it after your pointed it out. Thanks again.
