    Default Rose Robin

This is a lovely little robin found mainly in the mid-canopy in wetter forests here in Victoria.
Playback used. Thanks for looking, Greg.

Beautiful little bird with a sweet perky pose.
The BG is lovely and I like the way the ferns frame the robin without overwhelming him.
IQ is excellent and lovely light.
    Well done,
    Gail

Nice image that I think would look even better with one or maybe even both of the catch light marks removed from the eye.

You've done it again, Greg. What a little beauty!!! Love the way you have framed bird with the ferns and your details and flash use are super.

Sweet! The bird is so perky and colorful and perfectly framed by the delicate ferns. Memorable frame, Greg.

This one is exceptional Greg. I like that you have used appropriate native vegetation for your perch and have some natural looking background variation. Feather detail looks good. A bit more DOF would have been handy but not an issue for me. Regards, Ian

The use of perch and perch placement/set up is so rich here. Not to mention the really lovely smooth bg colors setting everything off. Gorgeous bird well posed. Have you ever written any articles on your methods for setting up such frame filling perches? Would love to read one!

Excellent picture once again. I would only fix the eye as there seems to be some "steel eye" remnants on there. There rest is up to your usual high standards.

Hi Greg, Love your presentation here of the Rose Robin - exquisite little robin well composed against the pleasing BG. Never actually seen one in the Blue Mountains of NSW but must try a playback

A wonderful cutie, very well photographed. I'm trying to figure out the tree -- some sort of acacia??

Beautiful bird and excellent framing. That rose breast is stunning. The remnant of steel eye should be easy to fix.
