    Avian Great Tit - landing

    5D3, 400mm IS L f/4, tripod, natural light + fill in flash (600EX in HSS mode, 100% power), manual exposure, f/9, 1/5000, ISO1600, remote wireless trigger for flash (tc80-n3) and 2nd in my hand for 5D3.
    Setup: perch (too big, the target was Nuthatch), sunflower seeds feeder.
    PP: NR of BG and selective on bird, perch darken, eye edit, mid tones contrast.
    Fulls size of photo: 3529 x 2284 pixels.
    Location: Velebit mountain.

    I like the pose, the flash is subtle, colours are good. Not a bad idea to include the perch as a general idea.
    I don't have one of those remote wireless triggers, I guess the big advantage is that the camera and flash fire simultaneously - and at the right time so you don't have to worry about multiple images and the flash gun not recharging.

    I like the landing pose, perch and BG. sharp with good details. I wish the wings were fully raised for a more dynamic pose
