Here's another Black-necked Stilt taken on a still, foggy morning in Baylands last year. FF+ (added slivver of canvas top and right). Cloned out an oof willet on the left.

    Bill:

Elegant bird, good reflection, still water.

I would consider adding a bit more canvas below the reflection of the head to balance the amount above the real bird. As is, the reflection is a bit crowded.

    Cheers

Very pleasing reflection image, Bill. Not easy to get everything to line up for an image like this. Has a nice mood to it.

Very nice with a perfect reflection - that water was very still! Could be my monitor but to me it looks like you could add about 1/2 stop of light (especially for the face), and I agree with Randy about the comp. Still a very pleasing image.

I like the pose, reflection and sharpness. Comp wise I would add a little at the bottom. Nice image Bill.

Thank you all. Yes, it does look as if a little more brightness on the face would help. I had thought that I should give more room to the prime subject, but there seems a consensus that I should even out the comp. I'll go back and take another look. I appreciate the comments.
