Gorgeous light and nice environment/habitat. Impressive horns and I like the eye contact. TFS.

Hi Loi - gorgeous light and I like the placement in frame. Too bad the baboon didn't also pose for you. There's a nice richness to the image too. Only thing I would change is that there is some sort of smudging in the upper right corner.

    Hi Loi,
Agree, beautiful light here. Nice looking animal, great horns, and I like that you kept them under the tree line.

Hi Loi - the most amazing light and colors. Love the environment and the baboon is a nice addition for me.

Love the light and setting here, Loi.
There's a grittiness to the image in the BG and subject detail that bugs me - it's not been present in your other images of late, and the ISO wasn't that high. Any reason you could think of for it being there?

Hi Morkel, you had such good eyes. I think I decided to sharpen the whole image and not selectively like I used to. On my Mac lap top, I didn't see it, so didn't want to be bothered with selective sharpening. Great observation and thank you. Loi

Hi Loi, I agree on Steve C's comment about the tree line & Morkels 'grittiness', a little NR would be good. Personally I wouldn't use the MacBook Pro laptop for processing, I don't thinks it's good enough and like you, have missed things because of the screen. Fine for editing i.e. culling shots, but that's about it IMHO.
