    Default Theme - Naturally Graphic

I took this shot in Tampa in July, a small palm planted against a building near the Photography Museum in downtown. It had such a graphic look to it against the concrete texture and I really didn't do much to it except convert to black and white with a Creamtone preset in Lightroom and increase the Clarity +20 which added to the graphic look but it would have looked graphic without it

I like the soft sepia look and your framing Cheryl. I also like that one horizontal line art the top to bring out the brick work. Has a real sketch feel to it.

There are a lot of other things I like very much -- the opposing lines, the tonal and textural contrasts, the Creamtone effects, and the composition -- but it's the detail that really stands out. Very nicely done.

Nice subject with a VERY well-done effect! (You could have convinced me you did 20 different steps to it!)

Lovely work Cheryl, has a great graphic feel to it. I thought it was something completely different when I looked at the thumbnail....

Cheryl, you have a great eye to see images where I see nothing! I love the sketch-look to this with the abundant detail of the trunks and pebbles. Good slightly mottled bkgd adds interest but nothing to take attention away from the subject.
