This delicate Lady resides at Butterfly World and was up and about one Sunday morning...:) She was painted with a Nikon D200 using a Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5 - f/5.6 VR.

Hi Gus !!! With insects it works out just like with birds !!! More space in front of the bug than in the rear !!! If you turn it around so its vertical I could go for a center placement Not sure why the difference?

Would tone down the leafs, look a little hot. The point of focus is on the wing, need to be extra careful with the placement. Lots of macro work is about sharpness. Might consider getting the Sigma 150 2.8 Might like it. It is very light btq don't you have a 200 ?

Al is right about the Sigma lens. It is truly excellent. Very sharp.
