Default Wild Dogs in Water V

It has been a while since I posted one of the wild dogs playing in the waterhole in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Most of the time there were several running or chasing each other and it was difficult to decide where to look or which ones to focus on at a given moment. I wish the dog on the left was angled slightly towards me rather than away but I love the dog on the right.

    C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Rachel, perhaps with the FP's more to the right and the framing more to the left may have given a better crop and room for the dog to 'run into'? But easy to say after the event, although I was there, LOL. I think you could afford also to lose some off the top & to evict the stone without any harm to the overall comp. Like the displaced water/splashes and overall colour.

    Hi Rachel,
Yes to a touch more room to run into, but I'm sure you had your reasons for this comp. Nice clarity on this. It's also nice how all those droplets avoided obscuring the eye, great timing on your part . The little diagonal slope in the BG adds a nice touch as it leads toward the direction of the action.

Hi Rachel, Love the dog on the right and the water splashing. Yes, I wish the dog on the left would have angled towards you. I know how hard it is to get a really good dog interaction. They sleep all day and get up when there is not much light left and are often in the shade. I think you got an excellent series here already. Loi

Thanks Steve, Steve and Loi, much appreciated and unfortunately no more room on the left.

    Thanks again,
    Rachel
