Gorgeous bird, nice light, beautiful feather detail. It is probably just the angle of view, but it looks like the bird is swimming up hill - maybe a tiny amount of anti-clockwise rotation would fix this perception. I also think you should take some off the bottom to make the frame more plano. Overall very nice work. Regards, Ian

Great looking grebe. The blues are very nice and make the orange plumage pop nicely. Well exposed and lots of nice details. Yes to counter clockwise rotation, and if it is not already cropped I would go for a tighter composition.

Great image indeed. I was just thinking the same as the comments above. A tighter crop i think would be better and also think a bit of rotation needed.
