From High Island in April. The flower dominates the bird (female Orchard Oriole), but I found it interesting. This bush seemed to be very attractive to both the Baltimore and Orchard Orioles.

To me it's about 50/50 between the Bottle Brush flower and the Orchard Oriole. I like the dining posture, and in this case the branch shadows on her are not distracting. BG just fine too.

I like the feeding pose, exposure, flower, setting and composition. Well done Bill.
Excellent feeding image Bill. I feel the image is screaming for a bit of fill flash.
Thanks Alan. Agreed, some flash might have helped with the shadows. Flash is not allowed within the sanctuaries at High Island, and while this was taken immediately outside the gate of the Boy Scout Woods, I had just left the sanctuary and had left the flash in the car. Maybe next time.
Beautiful bird, nicely shown, I like the feeding pose, the Bottle Brush adds nice color to compliment the bird.
