Default Last Painted bunting for the year

    Canon Rebel T2i + 400mm f5.6L, 1/400 @ f5.6, -1/3EV, ISO 320, Handheld

Here is my last Painted Bunting for the year. I captured this image this past summer in Oklahoma on a bright sunny day deep in the woods. The buntings were so thick, I literally couldn't go anywhere on this 1000+ acre ranch without seeing or at least hearing them. Unfortunately I underexposed it by about 2/3 which brought out a bit of noise in the BKG.

    Thanks,
    David

Very nice pose and back ground. I think it might pop a little more if you did a levels adjustment or added some black to the neutrals in a selective color layer but it's lovely as presented.

Nice perch, pose and background. It sounds like a good place for this species.
