Since Rachel posted Marula's image I thought I will post more of her now. This was on a dry river bed where she was feeding her cub and as we approached her she just lifted her head as if asking "who goes there?"

You captured a great look on her face! Indeed, she appears miffed that you disturbed her. I like the lines of all the whiskers and turfs of hair from her ears radiating out from her face. More DOF might have included her nose, so that also would be sharp.

Hi Sanjeev - She's a nice looking leopard and it's great that she lifted her head for you. Nice light hitting the eyes. There's some blue and cyan creeping in. I agree with Nancy that a little more dof would have taken it up a notch. I might crop from the bottom to a 16x9 format, eliminating the oof paws as an alternative.

    Rachel

Really like this sleepy look up pose here Sanjeev, with Rachel's crop suggestion a good one.
f/5.6- 6.3 would have been preferable to get the full face in focus, seeing as you still had suitable ISO/SS.

Can't add anything to what's been said already. The DOF struck me at first viewing.
It's great spending time close up with them, eh?

Hi Sanjeev, I don't think this is as good as previous images and probably partly down to the 7D. Apart from the DoF & colour issues, the whites look a little lacking in detail and the blacks are a bit hefty, choking some detail in the eyes, nose & spots for me. I like the relaxed, 'quick check' pose, with those sleepy/dreamy eyes. If this is not FF then a slight move to the left with the crop, loosing a little off the RHS and more to incorporate the paw may help?
