    D7100 | 300mm f/4 + 1.4 TC (420mm) | f/5.6 | 1/8000s | ISO 640

    I used a very high shutter to minimize over exposure on the white feathers. The bird was in the middle of the day light with the background been the sea. I managed to get the result I was looking for of the white against dark background.

    I like the head on pose and the dark BG, unfortunately the side light was harsh and the critical focus seems to be on the feathers on the back of the heads leaving the eyes and beak soft
