    Default Bald Eagle Portrait

The original image was dark as the eagle was in a shaded area. I used the lowest ISO possible to recover the most from an underexposed image with very little noise. I only wish for a bit more depth of field at the shoulders.

Good recovery but I would have closed down the aperture to say f/8 and pushed up the ISO until the 'blinkies' started to flash on the whites. Regards, Ian

Nice close-up look at this beautiful Eagle. The colorful BG sets this one off nicely. The techs look good and the whites look nice with lots of detail. I agree with Ian on the exposure settings in the future for a shot like this to better the DOF. Well done

Lovely portrait with amazing feather details. Your raptor stands out beautifully against the green BG. Agree with comments above re your settings. With your equipment and birds, there's rarely a need need to every go below ISO 400. You might try de-saturating the yellows just a tad in your white head. Well done.

Hi Raybel, excellent detail on the whites, and the head pops nicely from the smooth BG.

The face looks very good. The comp is OK too, only the dof let you down here but you know that already. Was this a captive bird?
