An infrared image from June. I used Fractalius Sketch 01, NIK Vignette Blur and added a slight blue vignette around the edge, and finally a texture called Corner Light from Belle Fleur to add light to the URC.

Outstanding. The separation of the statue and flowers from the rest of the image through the use of IR allows separation of the subject without losing detail, and the corner lighting is effective. I wish there were more canvas at the top, but it's great without it.

    Jackie,

Greetings. The blue-orange color contrast is great. The yellow blossoms (?) at the base are a nice touch. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

Very nice work, I agree with Dennis, the separation, colors and composition rock.

The unique IR blue bkgd gives this a great ethereal feel to compliment the subject matter. I like that all the details of the busy bkgd are unified with the blue, allowing the statue to really stand out. There are a few bits of white showing through the foliage near the top right that you might want to clone away.

Thanks for the comments. I think it is a good idea to clone out the white spots too, although I never noticed 'til you mentioned it Nancy.

Hi, Jackie, great color IR. I especially love the leaves around the base and the sense of depth in the background.
