    This is another image from my summer trip. I spent a couple of days hanging around with David Salem and we spent a couple of hours each afternoon with his local Burrowing Owl family. My thanks go to David and his family for their hospitality. Having great company and an opportunity to photograph the Owls was one of the highlights of my trip.

    Hi Jim, great flight image, tack sharp. I could even see the texture of the owl's yellow eye. Difficult to get in flight. Loi

    Those sure were some fun evenings with the owls Jim. Glad you got out here when you did and your timing this year was much better than last year. The shot looks awesome and I like the evening light as it lights up the eyes so well and gives that warm color to the owls. Your usual solid techs and details make for a real beauty. Well done Jim.
