A new Bird for me, I was thrilled to find a place where they could be found. I processed this in light room which is also new for me.

Nice light and great in flight pose, Robert. This is an immature Crested Caracara. The adults have bright orange on the bill and the juvies like this one have bright pink. The bird seems a bit soft.

I like the full wing spread and the perfect exposure. However, the bird looks a bit soft and the white balance also seems a bit off to me. Very nice shot overall, though!

Great ventral view, light and exposure. Nice bird. I agree about the softness: maybe a touch of NIK DE or Topaz Detail, and a bit more USM? Or maybe it's just the size of the crop? Also consider adding a 1 px line around the image. Congrats on the new bird.

It's a pretty cool bird and you got it in a good flight position. Light looks like it was good. I do believe you may be able to pull out some detail in those deeper blacks - sometimes the "shadows" slider works wonders in LR.

Thanks for the feedback, I sure like the pose, but I do agree it is not as sharp as we would all like to see it.
