    Default Sanderling Resting Among the Bubbles.

    After feeding on a few large worms it was time for this individual to take a well deserved nap! was able to photograph it from all sorts of angles from its resting pose (and even full-frame head and shoulders) and even left it as is - this was after spending an hour and a half with it...talk about working a subject.

    Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/640s., f/7.1, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, crop after small rotation but basically FF, darkened pupil, lightened iris, darker streak in the BG toned down.
