Wow! I love this. The great crouching pose, the water, the crop.
The really nice thing about this shot is the diagonal snow trail created by the cat
    Well done,

Super pose, sighting and capture Dale.
Good call on including the river in front to add context.
    Was it successful?

Hi Dale - Exposure and comp look perfect. Great detail in the snow and the river really adds to the image. Hope you have similar luck this year .

Nice capture of an elusive subject. This is a really well composed image. You've got the horizontals of the water, cat, and log and then the two diagonals leading to the front and back of the subject. Well done.

A real gem of a shot the cat looks so intent. I just noticed the size of those paws! It must have been a great experience to have been there.

Hi Dale, lovely stalking pose and outstretched from paw and intense stare, focused!

Light handle very well, was this metered off the snow? Great detail all round and the snow has that lovely 'crustiness' to it. In an 'ideal world' having the snow as the complete backdrop would be great, love the low POV and FG water running by.
