Default Delaware Water Gap / Poconos

Hi...I am going to be spending a couple of days next week in the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap. Can you suggest:
    1. Good locales for birding / bird photography
    2. Good locales for landscape shots
    3. Scenic hiking trails that might offer good photo ops as well

    Thanks!

    Hi Wendy,

I'm not familiar with the area, so maybe someone with experience there will help out.

    Wendy,

I am sorry for being a little late on this. Haven't been on much lately . Along Route 209 in the poconos you will see signs for waterfalls (Factory Falls / Fulmer Falls/ Silver thread...). There are a bunch of them in the area but I don't believe there has been much rain there. Also George Childs park or Childs Park off of Silver Lake road is another good spot with trails and waterfalls. You can go down to the Delaware River in Milford (Milford Beach road) and hope to grab a flyby of a local Bald Eagle.

These sound great, Dave. We went last week, but are hoping to go again in a few months, so I will still have a chance to check out all of your recommendations...thanks!
