Lovely image Robert. You nailed the exposure here. Love the eye contact and the fish eye was a plus. Loi

Very nice capture. Excellent detail and composition. I like the eye contact on both the bear & fish!

Hi Dale, cracking pose, love the raised front paw and the prized bounty dangling from the jaws, drenched bear, water & blood cascading just adds to the scene nicely.

I think the IQ isn't quite as good as we have come to see in the past, likewise I might suggest adding a % Luminosity mask on the salmon, it brings out some more, nice detail & tone on contained within the original capture.

Great pose for this frame-filling vertical portrait, Dale!
I agree with Steve on his suggestions on toning down the "catch" a bit. A wildlife experience I still yearn to have...

Hi Dale - What a great catch for both you and the bear! Love the pose and the vertical comp works well. I also like the sort of line of red in the image from the eye to the bite to the blood running out of the mouth of the fish. Good suggestions by Steve for bringing out a bit more detail on the fish.

This is a great action shot.
I like the dripping water and blood and the "in your face" POV.
I would like a bit more room on the RHS and top.

Superb shot. Shows great detail in both the bear and the unfortunate salmon. The pose with the raised paw really shows the power these bears are capable of
