Hi Folks; Another attempt to create another digital oil painting using PS CC Oil Paint filter (obsolete on 2014 CC) which I saved to play around with. IMHO, being old doesn't mean your obsolete

    Comments always welcome and appreciated.

    Warm regards

    Gus

Hi, Gus, I like this one too. The OP did a great job on that bush the hawk is sitting on. I'd probably like to see just a little more eye revealed but it's fine the way it is. He is certainly a majestic specimen.

Love that fiery look to his shoulder! Makes me think of a special paint job on a motorcycle! I actually like the head better on this image. It appears "stronger". HaHa! I agree old is not obsolete!!!!

Fun image! It could be interesting with a little off the top. Have you thoought about going back to the image before the oil paint step and lightening the darks a little? That should let more details show in the painting.

That is some kind of blue. I like the pose and the detail in this image better Gus. Nice work.

Old definitely does not mean obsolete.
Nice image. Good comments above. I'd crop a bit off the top, and lighten the head a bit.
