This was taken at my set up in Costa Rica earlier this year. I will try to post an image of the male next week. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Stunning bird, perch and Bg, Jim. She's pretty darn good looking for a female. I can only image what the male looks like. Love the intricacies of the vegetation on the perch.

Terrific green on green motif! I also dig the lichens on the nice perch. Good comp, techs. Although seemingly minor I'd remove the bluish cast to the pupil - makes it look like a slight haze in the eye.

Fantastic shot of this beautiful female Jim. I too like the green on green look. The techs look perfect as do the feather details. Nice perch too. Well done!

Feel's like St. Patrick's Day. Beautiful little honeycreeper and lovely setup perch, with good techs. Green on green is striking, but I find myself wondering if a different bg might enhance the bird even more.

I just love it when things compliment each other so well....love the green on green. Delicate lichens soften that perch and the eye just pops. What a beauty, Jim. THanks for sharing it.

    Pretty girl!
I like the pose she gave you and the eye contact. Now talking about eyes, I would darken the pupil a tad.

It's not hard to be green when you are this pretty!
Would like a bit more room on the LHS for the tail if you have it.
The size of the perch is perfectly suited for the bird,
    Gail

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions. I will give the image another look and incorporate some of them.
