    Default Opeongo Road

This was taken in our largest and oldest provincial park, Algonquin. I will be going up in a couple of weeks and hope to get some decent shots. This is a marshy bog where you will often spot moose, and about 100 photographers as they line up along the road waiting for them. I used DAP Gruppe, which seems to be about the only preset I liked so far. Local adjustments and added a bit of fog from CEP at the top for a receding horizon.

You choose a very nice composition with the stream leading in & meandering through the foreground and midground. The even layers of trees and sky make a good bkgd. I like the brush strokes from the Gruppe program. It creates an emphasis on the colors & shapes of the scene that really makes this visually beautiful. I especially like the pops of blue in the water and the oranges and browns.

Great shot and processing. The rocks make good foreground elements, and your composition puts them in the right place. The colors, the water, the trees in the background, and the pretty sky combine to make this really beautiful.

A lovely composition, showing the beauty of this area. I especially like that it shows bogs, forests, mountains--each a bit different, yet next to each other to create a beautiful park and image. Your processing is very pleasing. One little thing: there seems to be a narrow band along the top of the mountains that is lighter than the mountains. Perhaps it came from the CEP fog? Excellent.

Hi, Jackie, I like the impressionistic look on this one. Lovely composition although I could see cropping just a little off of the bottom so that the yellow flowers on the left hand side are on the edge.
