I like the view of the feet, the frame right before this with the wings fully extended would have been ideal and more dynamic. The blacks have lost detail

    Joe:

Feet are great. Agree with Arash that the fully extended wing position would have been more dramatic. Like the inclusion of the landing spot. Slight clouds in the background do add a bit of depth.

I would probably remove some of the negative space on the far right side.

    Cheers

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Regarding the image before as Arash suggested possibly being more dramatic, it didn't have the wings fully extended, the bird was making a quick turn into the wind to land. As Arash suggested I opened the blacks to show more detail on the repost. I also cropped the image tighter eliminating some of the negative space on the right side.

After reading the above comments, although I agreed about the negative space, I didn't think I'd like the new crop. Well I was wrong. I like what you've done with the crop/composition here. It works well and better focuses on your subject.
