    Default Squawking Juvie Magnificent Frigatebird

This is the best time of year to photograph the Magnificent Frigatebirds in SW Florida b/c many congregate here before migrating south for their nesting season. The farthest north they nest is the Dry Tortugas. Within two weeks, they'll all be gone. This is a juvenile squawking.

Very nice Marina. I like the IQ and the open bill and that stray chest feather. Your comp works well.
The only thing that could improve this would be a BG with a bit more color variation in it.

PS I see a dust spot 2 inches from RHS along lower edge.

That is one species I'd love top photograph someday. Sweet portrait of this youngster! Well exposed, sharp, well balanced comp.

A nice portrait with good exposure and details. Open beak adds more interest

Nice portrait, the colors, detail and exposure are spot on. I have never seen this bird up close. Thank you for sharing.

Despite being a very common bird here I have to say that I´ve never seen them so close!
Love the wide open beak and nice feather exposure!
