I was stalking a young Black-crowned Night-heron when this Spotted Sandpiper landed in front of me on some lily pads and started to chase flying insects. It never saw me crouching there as it would have flown away (these guys tend to be flighty around here). Instead it gave me a neat, albeit short, show while I snapped away. This image is my favorite of this series.
