Thursday I was at Circle B Bar Reserve. Another overcast day, definitely a learning experience on exposure. I began capturing images of this Great Egret when it noticed me, frantically it veered to the left its eyes locked on me below. I found the birds antics comical, I hope you think the same. Interesting pose and look. Are you able to lighten the shadows any more without too much noise? I often shoot the egrets in my area against foggy skies and am always surprised how dark the undersides of the wings are. I also see a similar yellowish cast fairly often. I'm never sure if its color that is really in the bird or just comes from the processing.
