    This image was taken at around high tide on a rather dull day, (the background is the sea) all C&C welcome.

    Hi Jonathan, I like the pose on this one as well as the details (super exposure on whites and blacks) and ocean BG. Something in me however wants to take a bit off the left and add a bit to the right. TFS

    Hi Jonathan very well processed turnstone with spot on exposure and very good details in light and shadow .And the pose is really cool .

    Do you use DPP 4 , meanwhile happy with it ?

    Thanks for the feedback everyone. Regarding DPP4 I did not use it, I keep going back to it just to see if I can get better results, I am totally undecided. Sometimes I prefer the colours with DPP sometimes with ACR, here is a DPP4 version, I think on reflection I prefer it, there is a little more contrast. Another day the results may be different again - any observations or comments would be welcome.

    Excellent IQ here, and I like how the turnstone is soldiering on along the top of the rock. Perfect head angle turned slightly towards us. That's what I love about "dull" days...photographing at high noon!
