    Mitch, I like this new topaz impression program. It creates such a cool textured bkgd. with subtle variations in shades of blues, etc. I am not crazy about that dark strip across the top of the image. It distracts from the shorebird and is visually too solid & dark for the more delicate & wispy bkgd. Good lighting on the front of the shorebird & you captured a nice bit of motion & head turn.

    I like the brushstrokes and the pose. Overall the picture looks a little dark to me and heavy on the vignetting. You are getting some nice results from the program.

    The colors and pose of the bird are great. So is the title. The darkness at the bottom works just fine for me, but I'd like to see the upper background lightened a bit -- especially the dark portion on the left.

    I love the idea but agree that it needs to go a lot lighter. The brush strokes really rock! Let's see a lighter repost :)
