Tried a number of crops with this one. I processed this a few months ago an don't remember what, but mostly just contrast from the original, nr & sharpening.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

Michael...Wow, I really like the contrast of dark and light, the shadows of the chairs on the balcony, and the contrast between the small, delicate patio furniture and the massive building. But I'm finding the windows on the right side distracting and wonder how it would look if you cropped the image just to the right of the balcony, and cloned out whatever parts of those windows that remained. --Wendy

Love this. Isn't it interesting how our many different views are! I think the windows on the right are needed as an echo of the angles of the central windows and the darker angles of those on the left. The reflections of the chairs, etc in the central windows is a plus.

Fascinating and very engaging. At first it appeared as a graphic and then I noticed the chairs and table. Great contrasts of sharp, geometric shadows with the curves and delicateness of the furniture and those shadows. I agree with Hazel and would not change the crop. Very well seen and processed.

I really like this stark b and w. The lines are great and the empty patio leaves you wondering about who has been there or might show up. Lots to engage your imagination on this one.

    Wendy, Hazel, Nancy, Jackie,

Thanks much for your comments. They are much appreciated. The little bit that my hotel window opened allowed for this shot mostly straight down. Jackie, I wondered about that little patio every time I looked out the window... the only one I could see on the whole building.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

I like all the intersecting planes -- including the one with the windows on the right. And -- like others have said -- that patio and the chairs are the icing.

Michael - this is perfect. I love all of the shapes and planes, the black and white, the reflection of the chairs and of course the chairs and table and their shadows. Really well done (And seen!)
