Binu, this is a great action shot. Nice exposure in whites, the HA is nice and the fish is a big plus. Well done.

Stunning capture Binu. Of late, we have had a smorgasbord of terns fishing and this one is right up there. Excellent work. Regards, Ian

Hi Binu, great action with the Tern exiting out the water with his next meal. Great show of the near wing, and I like the 'boiling' water. I felt you had a yellow cast in the whites. Here is my version by desaturating the yellow channel in hue/saturation. I could have gone all the way but left some yellows so as not to make it look too unnatural.

Either version works for me as I attributed the yellowish cast to early or late light. Not easy to pull an image like this, especially to anticipate where and when the tern hits the water while tracking it. The water action is nice, and I really like that the fish is curled the way it is. There is a water drop creating an extra "catchlight" on the eye at 5 o'clock that I would remove though.

Great image, Binu. You captured the perfect moment. Beautiful light, and excellent catch for both you and the Tern.

    Thanks everyone!

Thanks Stuart! I really appreciate it. I like your version. As Daniel pointed out, the yellow cast is due to the late evening light.

Thanks Daniel! I'll clone out that water droplet.

Super hard image to execute. Love the bird emerging from the water with the fish. Composition wise, I would love more on the bottom to see where the bird has come from. (Probably a personal preference only)

I love catching frames like this as the Terns are hunting. Perfect HA on both and the exposure and details look great. I shoot allot of Terns in the evening and I like the cast that the setting sun puts on them. Well done Binu.

Love the action and that fish. I would not mind seeing this just a bit wider all around.
