This was at Sun City in the lawns of Cabanas Hotel. A full frame image in the morning light with me squatting on the ground to get a low POV.

Nice one Sanjeev! These birds always appear to be ugly at first site, until you start looking closer then you realise that they have the most beautiful colors in their feathers.

Technically spot on but the light looks harsh. Maybe earlier in the morning would have been better. Regards, Ian

I like the pose, sharpness and details. It is a little tight at the bottom, composition wise. Light does look a little harsh.

Hi Sanjeev, noisy buggers arent they, but you certainly brought out the colours and details. Nice and sharp, with a good low angle. Maybe a bit more space below. This wasnt at the back of the swimmimg pool area was it?

Hope you didnt lose too much money in the casino.

Good profile pose, well exposed, and sharp. Colours look nice. If possible I would have lied completely flat on the grass: this would have minimized the shadow and also thrown the BG even further away for a better blur to it. As posted I do find the subject a bit tight in the frame, especially at bottom for the foot.

Thanks everyone, Stu, yes this was at the back of the swimming pool on the lawns! You are so right!!! This is full frame so I had no room below, should have moved back a bit to shoot lying flat as Dan suggested. Oh yeah they make some real loud noise & wake everyone up in the hotel
