I promise this is the last juvie Forster's Tern image for awhile. Perhaps not the officially approved BPN wing position, but there was something in the potential energy of this that I liked, as he transitioned from hover to dive. Once again showing the cinnamon coloration of the juvie. C&C always appreciated.

I know the pose well and I can see this juvie folding up to dive. Nice detail and colors and the head is exceptionally sharp. The rest of the techs look great and I like the Tern and BG colors.
    Well done

Nice catch Bill, the terns are quite a challenge and you got a nice one. Nice detail and pose, and there is just enough of a catch light in the eye.

I love it, great details and pose. I like that you can see him from above a bit. Perhaps just a little more room below? TFS

    Cheers, Tom

Nice one, Bill. I'll say you caught the split second changeover brilliantly. The direction and quality of light accentuates the detail you captured. IQ is outstanding.

Nothing wrong with the wing positions at all for this "pre-dive" pose! It actually looks a bit like a lawn dart (if anyone remembers that fun family game long-since banned up here). Perfect techs, good comp. Too bad about the wing's shadow on the body but not much could be done there, and it certainly does not take away from the image.
