    Mark III, 70-200 with2X, ISO 640. hand held at 1/400 for a probably not so sharp shot. Anyway, I thought his head position was amazing.

    I like the pose, Susan. It's amazing how these owls can twist their heads around. The bird is a bit soft - as you noted. There is some noise in the otherwise nice background that you might try to reduce.

    Pose and light are great. I'm wondering whether the softness is due to motion blur or focusing issues. I agree regarding noisy BG.

    Those owl necks are amazing aren't they Susan! To the above I would add that there appears to be a yellowish cast to the photo. Thanks for posting!

    Nice shot, if you would desat the yellow or go into color balance and move the slider from yellow to blue a little the photo would pop.
