    I like the colors. I think the image could use a little brightening.

    Interesting light, although I admit I would prefer frontal lighting. I like the incoming pose with the one raised foot. I'd crop about half the FG and same at left...the large bubble would balance the comp with the sanderling pushed closer to the left edge.

    Hi Frank,

    I really like the mood created by the soft, late light; and the way you have the catchlight in both eyes!

    Daniel's idea for a crop would also work for me, but perhaps taking less off the left side.
