This snowy owl was from last year in Ottawa. I went back and processed this one to cool off a bit amid the Indian summer.

Great to see one of these beauties. Love the big wide open eyes and the slight showing of the claws. I can hardly wait for them to come down.
In fact hey already started coming down, one in Burlington, a few in Ottawa area. It can be a sign of a big eruption.

Hi Arash, great image at high ISO. I see halo around the pupils of the owl, not sure what it is. Seeing your image motivated me working on mine again and I will post one shortly. Read your notes from last Spring and tried to apply the PP tips on my image. Thank you. Loi

Nice, simple, clean, and attention grabbing with the great eye contact. Love the quality you achieve at ISO1600. Was this owl fed?

Hi Shawn, ISO was 6400, and yes we used bait to attract this owl.

I'm not ready for winter just yet, but his is making me look forward to (and hoping for) these guys' return. Impressive result for the high ISO. Nice pose with just enough talon showing.

Great looking frame Arash. I like the white BG as it shows off the feather markings well of this species. Nice eye contact too. Well done
What a great look at this beautiful owl Arash. I like the solid white BG that showcases the feather patterns on this species well. Perfect direct stare at you too. Nice frame
