    Default Sanibel Island

I'm planning to spend a couple of days at the Ding Darling NWR in November. What's the situation there now? Any prospects for interesting photography?

From what I hear, it's a hit or miss and has been that way for about 10 years. I wish I could give you better news. I would suggest driving through and checking it out, talking to other photographers there. You may wish to try Little Estero Lagoon.

    Thanks, Marina.

If Ding Darling does not look good, I'll follow your suggestion. Or we'll look for seashells on Sanibel Island's beaches.

Norm, you need favorable tides so the birds are close enough to photograph. Also I believe the drive does not open to vehicle traffic until 8 am might want to check that also.agree with Maria that u might want to check out estero or make the two hour drive to ft desoto

Thanks, Don. And thanks for the further suggestion of Ft. DeSoto.
